EU Study Days – Kyiv – 6th – 10th March 2013

January 12, 2013

This is a bit of an academic public service announcement really – concerning the week 6th – 10th March when the first dedicated EU study days will occur in Kyiv.

The idea is to give attendees a greater conception of the EU and EU/Ukrainian interaction.  Fair enough!

Lectures will be delivered by Andrew Wilson, senior policy fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations (London); Christian Egenhofer, senior fellow at the Centre for European Policy Studies and visiting professor at the College of Europe (Brussels); Andrii Veselovskyi, Ukraine’s Representative to the EU (2008-2010); Mykhaylo Gonchar, director of energy programmes of the Nomos Centre; Valeriy Chalyi, deputy Director General of the Razumkov Centre; Olexandr Sushko, research director of the Institute for Euro-Atlantic Cooperation; Tamara Martsenuk, associate professor at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, expert in gender studies.

So why am I telling you this now?  You will have forgotten by March!

Read this link and at the bottom you will note the date of 20th January – That’s why!

(Yes it will be an interesting week I suspect – but a week in Kyiv?  I don’t even like being there for a day!)
