Odessa Brides Parade – 29 May 2011
May 24, 2011Well dear readers, giving you some advance warning, the annual Odessa Brides parade takes place on 29 May this year.
Rather fortunate that the weather has turned for the better it seems. Anyway here is the itinerary should you want to either watch or avoid it:
At 1 p.m., the participants of the Parade will gather at Dumskaya Square.
After this, the brides will walk along Deribasovskaya Street, the City Garden, and then a photo session will be held by the Opera Theater.
After the photo session, the Parade will march along Primorskiy Boulevard, Dumskaya Square, Potyomkin Stairs, monument to Duke de Richelieu, Vorontsovskiy Palace and the colonnade.
By the romantic colonnade, the brides will traditionally throw the bouquets to the crowd.
