A total of UAH 115 billion were sent from Ukraine to offshore in 2009, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said.
“This year UAH 115 billion were sent to offshore, and I don’t know, how much more will be sent away before the process stops,” she said at a meeting dedicated to Ukraine’s chemical industry in Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, on Saturday. – Interfax Ukraine.

Small beans compared to Ms Tymoshenko and friends off-shore assets. Strangely I know quite a lot of wealthy Ukrainians who either have personal bank accounts in the UK, Switzerland, BVI and Cyprus…….in fact they have BVI and Cyprus companies owning their Ukrainian companies and assets……..welcome to global finances Ms T…….although of course you are really well aware of them through personal experience aren’t you!
